PROJECT OVERVIEW

We are working with a global technology company operating in the maritime and offshore domain, delivering digital solutions used by thousands of professionals worldwide. The product ecosystem includes solutions for fleet operations, training, compliance, voyage planning, and performance optimization — helping organizations manage complex processes from ship to shore.

The mission of the project is to support a safer and more sustainable future by enabling data-driven decision-making and contributing to the transition toward more efficient and environmentally responsible operations.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

• Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs

• Lead architectural decisions and define best practices

• Build and maintain microservices-based systems

• Work with REST and GraphQL APIs

• Implement secure authentication and authorization (AuthN/AuthZ)

• Integrate messaging systems and asynchronous processing

• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical strategy

IF YOU HAVE

• 8+ years of experience in software development

• Strong expertise in Python

• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs

• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Hands-on experience with Azure (AWS is a plus)

• Strong understanding of system design and architecture

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with event-driven systems

• Knowledge of security best practices

• Experience in high-load systems
