Technical Product Owner (Healthcare)
PROJECT OVERVIEW
We are working with a HealthTech company specializing in audiology, providing cloud-based practice management software, clinical testing tools, and data analytics solutions for hearing care professionals, clinics, and hospitals. Their platform supports the full patient journey—from appointment scheduling and clinical workflows to billing and aftercare—helping streamline operations and reduce administrative workload.
We are looking for a Product Owner who can keep the migration team focused, the backlog sharp, and the customer conversation clear - someone technical enough to understand what's happening under the hood and practical enough to keep things moving.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
Own and maintain the migration backlog - keep it prioritized, refined, and ready so the team always knows what's next and why;
Run refinement sessions that actually refine - break down work, clarify scope, resolve ambiguity before it reaches development;
Be the main point of contact for customers during migration - understand their data, their systems, and their concerns, and translate that into clear requirements for the team;
Ask the right technical questions - you don't need to write the code, but you need to understand how APIs work, what a data mapping looks like, and where integrations tend to break;
Work with engineering to scope migration paths - what data moves, how it moves, what needs transformation, and what gets left behind;
Spot risks early - data quality issues, missing fields, incompatible formats - and make sure the team addresses them before they become blockers;
Coordinate across teams when migrations touch other parts of the platform;
Track migration progress and communicate clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
IF YOU ARE
3+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis, with hands-on experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs;
Strong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows, with the ability to grasp how systems interact at a high level;
Basic knowledge of SQL and databases, including the ability to read queries, understand data schemas, and effectively communicate with engineering teams;
Practical experience with data migration, system integration, or platform onboarding, with awareness of common challenges and risks;
Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple customers while maintaining team focus and delivery momentum;
Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and adapting quickly as new insights emerge;
Strong communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher).
NICE TO HAVE
Experience in healthcare, MedTech, or hearing care domains, particularly working with clinical data and practice management systems
Familiarity with ETL processes, including data mapping and validation techniques
Hands-on experience with legacy system migrations, with a practical understanding of common complexities and challenges
Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements when handling patient or clinical data
Background in B2B SaaS environments, especially where customer onboarding is a key part of the product experience
Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and standard integration patterns
